This group meets quarterly for a 2-hour pistol workshop for experienced women shooters who want to challenge themselves with more difficult COFs.

You’ll run a cold drill at the start of the class to assess skill and diagnose areas for improvement. You’ll set realistic and measurable goals for the session.

Workshop critical skills and run more challenging drills. The focus is on simulating stress and putting your defensive shooting skills to the test to see how you perform.

Drills are run from the holster on a timer. Work efficient draw stroke, proper grip and vision to consistently acquire targets and hit accurately at speed at distances of 5 to 15 yds.

FAQs
How long is the class?
Two hours. Class begins at 12:00PM with a safety brief and review of fundamentals and moves to the range, concluding at 2:00PM.
Do I need my own pistol?
Yes, you must have your own semi-auto pistol to attend this class, as well as a holster, minimum of three magazines and one magazine pouch.
Should I bring ammo?
Yes, you will need a minimum of 250 rounds of ammunition. More is better. Contact me for recommendations to purchase bulk ammunition.
What gear do I need?
You must have a holster, either AIWB or OWB — preferably Kydex molded to the specific make and model of your gun and a proper gun belt. Please bring a speed loader, electronic ear protection and eye protection.
Where are classes held?
Training is conducted at Philadelphia Training Academy (PTA), 831 Ellsworth Street, Philadelphia, PA. Upon arrival your gun should be unloaded and cased.
What is the cost?
This 2-hour intensive pistol workshop for ladies is $125. This includes range fee. Students are responsible for bringing 200 rounds of ammunition.
