For the developing student who already has a basic understanding of gun handling and fundamentals, this 1-hour private class is tailored to the student’s current level and designed to provide a unique learning path that progresses in complexity and builds upon existing skill.

Refinement of core shooting fundamentals including stance, proper grip, target focused aiming for irons or optics, trigger press and follow through, working at a more aggressive pace and challenging distances.

Work different skills and run different drills every class. Development is focused on maintaining proper grip and sight alignment to consistently acquire targets and hit accurately with some speed and urgency at distances of 5 to 15 yards.

How long is the class?
One hour. Each class begins with a safety brief and review of fundamentals. Drills are selected based on skill level and goals of the student.
Do I need a pistol?
Yes, you must have your own semi-auto pistol to attend this class.
Should I bring ammo?
Yes, you will need a minimum of 150 rounds of ammunition. More is better.
What gear do I need?
Please bring a speed loader (I recommend Uplula), electronic ear protection and eye protection.
Where are classes held?
The one-hour class is held at indoor range Philadelphia Training Academy (PTA), 831 Ellsworth Street, Philadelphia, PA.
What is the cost?
This one-hour dynamic class is $100. This includes range fee.
